Zaanse Schans then the Ferry

As our Ferry wasn't until the evening we had some time to kill before catching it. We'd read about Zaanse Schans and the pictures of the windmills there looked great so we decided to spend the day there, using an Aire beside the railway station to park up.

Zaanse Schans didn't disappoint and it's very picturesque with the colourful windmills along the waterside.

There were also places showing how clogs were made, which Fiona enjoyed as she's quite into clogs for some reason.

She also enjoys postboxes so here's here with a Dutch one!
