Loch Katrine for New Year 2018/19

With about a week of holidays available we decided that it'd be nice to get away in our motorhome for New Year. I'd noticed that there was a New Years day boat trip available at Loch Katrine so decided to book the motorhome stop there for the first couple of nights. For £18 per night you get an EHU and access to a nice warm toilet and shower room, just for the motorhomers. You also get a discount on the boat trips as well, plus it's great for some easy walking.

We arrived and got ourselves set-up for a pretty quiet New Years eve - just how we like it! On New Years day itself we went out for a stroll along the Loch before heading back to catch our boat trip on The Sir Walter Scott, which seemed to be pretty popular with tourists coming up from the North of England.

There was live music on board, blankets (it was cold!) and live music plus drinks etc. Great fun.

I'd treated myself to a new camera (Pentax K1) so as night fell I headed out to take some shots with a tripod.
