All good things must come to an end

The ferry back from the Netherlands to Newcastle was as good as usual (it's one of my favourite ways to get to and from the continent when travelling from Scotland) and the drive home to Edinburgh was uneventful. While it's always nice to get home it was quite sad to come to the end of what has been a fantastic trip.

At the time I left I'd thought I'd retired however I'm starting a new job on Monday although it's different to what I've done before so should keep me interested for a while!
