Welcome to the Grahams on Tour

October 6, 2019

As it was Fiona's birthday on Friday we decided we'd head away for the weekend in the motorhome. The weather forecast wasn't great though, so we didn't want to go too far so our thoughts turned to the Scottish Borders. We'd heard good things about the Caravan and Campi...

September 26, 2019

After several days of not moving the motorhome - either just staying local or using the bus to get around - we finally decided to do some more exploring. Several people had mentioned to us that we really had to visit the beach at Machir Bay so despite the weather being...

We found out there was a bus from Port Charlotte to the main town on Islay, Bowmore, and that you could take dogs on it. We'd been meaning to try Ludo on a bus for a while now so decided to kill two birds with one stone, as we wanted to do some shopping there as well a...

September 24, 2019

We awoke to a pretty wet morning so decided to have a lazy day (they used to be "duvet days" before we got Ludo, however he's a lively boy so even these days involve a couple of hours of walkies now).

When we were in Lochgilphead a few weeks back we had a nice walk along the Crinan Canal and say a...

August 25, 2019

For the August bank holiday we decided to return to spend the long weekend in Lochgilphead. We'd used the excellent little campsite there a couple of times before, and it ticks pretty much all of the boxes for an ideal campsite when travelling with Ludo, our Labrador:

With the motorhome recently returned after its fire damage repairs were completed we wanted to get away to check it was all ok - watertight especially - and check it out.

As we'd only be away for the weekend we didn't want to go to far, plus now we've got Ludo the Lab w...

August 3, 2019

In January this year our motorhome received a fair bit of cosmetic damage due to a fire at the storage site we use. It was looking a bit sorry for itself but thankfully the problems were all cosmetic - melted trip and slightly warped (but still watertight windows) etc....

February 23, 2019

Our van was damaged in a fire at the storage site we use, however with the drivers window replaced and a broken indicator fixed our beloved Autoroller 600G motorhome appeared to be ok to use again, and we'd had confirmation from the insurance company that they were ok...
